Eligibility
The scheme is limited to Scheduled Tribe farmers and tribal cultivators. The main conditions are listed below.
- The applicant should belong to a Scheduled Tribe (Adivasi) community.
- The applicant should be actively engaged in farming.
- The applicant should live in a tribal area, or be a tribal cultivator living outside a tribal area.
- Farmers from the Dang district are not eligible for this scheme.
Application Process
Applications are submitted fully online through the I-Khedut Portal. The process is done in two parts: registration and then the scheme application.
STEP 1 - Visit the official I-Khedut portal and click on 'Login' at the top right, then select 'Beneficiary Registration'. Choose your beneficiary type as 'Farmer', 'Institutional' or 'Except For the Farmer'.
STEP 2 - Enter your district, taluka and village, select your account holder type, and fill in your bank account number and name. Solve the captcha and click 'Save and Next'.
STEP 3 - Enter your mobile number and email address, click 'Send OTP', enter the OTP received on your mobile, create and confirm a password, solve the captcha and click 'Submit' to finish registration.
STEP 4 - Log in with your new password and go to 'Schemes', then click on 'Agricultural Schemes'. Find the pump set scheme and click the 'Apply' button.
STEP 5 - Click 'Apply New' and fill in the application form. Cross-check every detail, then confirm the application and take a printout of the confirmed form for your records.
