The scheme is on the lines of Haryana old age pension scheme for the families having only girl child/ children.
To enroll families under Ladli Social Security Allowance Scheme, Haryana govt. is inviting application forms. In families having only girl child / children, financial assistance will be given from 45th birthday of either mother or father (whosoever is older of two) till their 60th birthday. In case of death of either of parents, the surviving partner will get this benefit till he / she turns 60 years of age. Thereafter they will be eligible for Old Age Samman Allowance. The rate of allowance is Rs. 2500 per month.
