Ladli Behna Yojana 29th Installment Date (October 2025): Madhya Pradesh government has confirmed that Ladli Behna Yojana beneficiaries will now receive ₹1500 per month, an increase from the earlier ₹1250. However, this time, the October installment will be released only after Diwali, not mid-month as usual.

This means 1.26 crore women across the state will get the increased amount, but slightly later than expected. The payment will be transferred directly to their bank accounts after the festival of Diwali, most likely around Bhai Dooj.

Ladli Behna Yojana 29th Installment Date Update – October 2025

The proposal to raise the monthly payment from ₹1250 to ₹1500 is already prepared and will be approved in the state cabinet soon. As per officials, the transfer will happen in one go after Diwali, and from next month onward, ₹1500 will be credited every month regularly like before.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had earlier announced that this increase would begin from Bhai Dooj, marking a festive gift for all Ladli Behna. A state-level event will also be organized where the CM will click-transfer the amount to all beneficiaries’ accounts.

Why Ladli Behna Payment is Delayed This Month?

In previous months, the government credited the money around the 15th of every month. But in October 2025, the process has been slightly changed due to Diwali celebrations and administrative approvals for the new amount.

Officials have clarified that the full ₹1500 will be paid at once after Diwali, and there will not be two separate installments of ₹1250 and ₹250.

The state government has planned a step-wise increase in the Ladli Behna amount from ₹1000 to ₹1250 to ₹1500 to ₹1750 to ₹2000 to ₹2250 to ₹2500 to ₹2750 to ₹3000 by the end of 2029.

With the current revision, the monthly financial cost for the government will rise to over ₹1800 crore per month.

How Ladli Behna Yojana Transformed Women’s Lives in MP?

Since its launch before the 2023 assembly elections, the scheme has brought direct monthly income support to crores of women in both rural and urban Madhya Pradesh. It aims to strengthen women’s financial independence, increase household income, and improve family well-being.

Women use this monthly help for essentials like food, education, medicines, and small savings. The steady support has made the Ladli Behna Yojana one of India’s largest women-focused government schemes.

Similar schemes such as Subhadra Yojana in Odisha, Lado Lakshmi Yojana in Haryana, Maiyan Samman Yojana in Jharkhand, Ladki Bahin Yojana in Maharashtra and few other states are also being run. Delhi government is also working on the launch of Mahila Samriddhi Scheme in Delhi.

  • The government is expected to announce the exact transfer date soon through media and official portals.
