What is Ladla Bhai Yojana?
Maharashtra government launched Ladla Bhai Yojana to reduce unemployment among educated youth. The official name of the scheme is Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana, which is why many people also know it as CMYKPY. The same scheme is called Maza Ladka Bhau Yojana or Ladka Bhau Yojana in different districts. It is often compared with the state's Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, which provides financial help to women.

The money is sent through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) into the Aadhaar-linked bank account of the candidate.
Internship under the scheme runs for 11 months. During this period, trainees get practical experience inside private companies, government departments and startups. The official CMYKPY portal lists 11 months as the training duration for the present and future batches. Stipend is paid every month for the full training period.
Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department of Maharashtra runs the scheme. The Commissionerate of Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Maharashtra State handles the day to day work. Around 10 lakh training seats are arranged in every financial year under a budget of Rs. 5,500 crore.
