Note 01: If a student fails an academic year, they will not be eligible to get the scholarship.
Note 02: Scholarship funds are paid in two equal installments. The first 50% is given after admission is confirmed in a Government ITI. The remaining 50% is released after the student meets the required attendance for exams.
Note 03: For clarity, all payments are made directly into the Aadhaar-linked bank account of the student through the Direct Benefit Transfer system.
Eligibility
To qualify for this support, a student must meet the following criteria:
- Must be currently enrolled in a Government ITI located in Haryana.
- Must belong to a Scheduled Caste community recognized by the State of Haryana.
- Must be a bonafide resident of Haryana.
Important: If a student is already getting educational benefits under any other State or Central Government scholarship, they will not be eligible for this program. For example, if a student from Rohtak is already benefiting from a central post-matric scholarship, they cannot claim this additional state scholarship at the same time.
Application Process
OFFLINE PROCESS - The student should contact the Head or Principal of the ITI to collect the official application form. Fill in all correct details and submit the form along with the required documents to the institute's administrative office for checking.
ONLINE PROCESS - The student can also apply through the official HarChhatravratti scholarship portal of the Directorate of Higher Education, Haryana. The same portal is used by the Skill Development department to disburse this scholarship to eligible trainees.
STEP 1 - Visit the official portal and click on the 'New Registration' or 'Login' button.
STEP 2 - Enter the Parivar Pehchaan Patra (Family ID). Select the name from the list and generate an OTP.
STEP 3 - Verify identity with the OTP sent to the registered mobile number.
STEP 4 - Review the auto-filled details, select the department and college, set a password, and complete the registration.
STEP 5 - Log in using the credentials, choose the relevant scholarship scheme after checking eligibility, and provide details such as course and roll number.
