Jammu and Kashmir Govt New Schemes List 2026 [80+] - DBT Onboarded Schemes

Jammu and Kashmir Govt New Schemes List: Jammu and Kashmir government led by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has released a list of government schemes for the people of the union territory. This was the first time after the abrogation of Article 370 that the government released such a list. From 5 August 2019, the Indian constitution applies in the J&K union territory, so people can now take the benefits of these schemes as mentioned in the J&K Govt New Schemes List. This includes central government schemes and centrally sponsored schemes that are currently running in Jammu and Kashmir.

In this Jammu and Kashmir Govt New Schemes List, there are 80+ government schemes. These schemes come from different ministries like rural development, finance, youth affairs, housing and urban affairs. After the scrapping of Article 35A and 370, this was a first major step of the Indian government towards development in the union territory. People of Jammu and Kashmir can now check the complete list of schemes for which they are eligible beneficiaries.

All the people of Jammu and Kashmir union territory can apply for the above mentioned schemes and avail benefits. The central government wants to provide benefits of these schemes to all people as development is the main agenda after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A in the union territory.

J&K DBT Onboarded Schemes Highlights

The J&K Direct Benefit Transfer portal now lists 112 schemes from 16 ministries. In the financial year 2025-26, the government transferred about ₹1,334 crore through more than 26 lakh transactions under these schemes.
