Benefits
Under this scheme, an eligible unemployed youth receives a monthly financial support of ₹2,500. This amount helps cover basic daily expenses while the person searches for a suitable job.

Eligibility
The following conditions must be met to qualify for this allowance:
- The applicant must be a native and permanent resident of Chhattisgarh with a valid residence certificate.
- The age of the applicant should be between 18 and 35 years as on 01 April of the application year.
- The applicant must have passed at least the Higher Secondary (Class 12) examination from a recognised board.
- The applicant must be registered at any district employment and self-employment guidance center, and this registration should be at least two years old as on 01 April of the application year.
- The applicant should have no personal source of income, and the total annual income of the family from all sources should not exceed ₹2,50,000.
A person becomes ineligible for the allowance in certain situations. If more than one member of a family is eligible, the allowance is given to only one member, usually the older one. Applicants are also not eligible if any family member works for the central or state government or a local body in a post above Class IV or Group-D, if the applicant refuses a valid job or self-employment offer, if family members hold high political offices, if the family receives a monthly pension of ₹10,000 or more, if the family paid income tax in the previous assessment year, or if the applicant belongs to a family of registered professionals such as engineers, doctors, lawyers, chartered accountants or architects.
Application Process

STEP 1 - Visit the official portal at erojgar.cg.gov.in and open the Unemployment Allowance Scheme page.
STEP 2 - Create an account using a valid mobile number and set up a login ID and password.
STEP 3 - Log in and fill in the personal, educational, employment, income and bank details accurately in the application form.
STEP 4 - Upload the required documents in the correct format and submit the application form. Note down the application number for future reference.
STEP 5 - Employment officers will check the application and supporting documents. The applicant may be called for physical verification at the local Gram Panchayat or Ward office.
STEP 6 - Once the application is approved, the monthly allowance is transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiary.
