Benefits

The scheme gives financial support on different farming inputs. The main benefits are listed below.

  • Farmers can get a 75% subsidy on FCO-approved 100% soluble chemical fertilizer or nano fertilizer, up to ₹750 per hectare. This is limited to a maximum of 4 hectares per farmer and can be claimed every year.
  • For tarpaulins, farmers can receive support covering 75% of the purchase price, subject to a maximum limit of ₹1,875. A maximum of two tarpaulins can be claimed per account.
  • The tarpaulin benefit can be availed once every 3 years, while the fertilizer benefit is available every year.

Eligibility

To get the benefit of this scheme, a farmer must meet the conditions given below.

  • The applicant should be a farmer belonging to the Scheduled Tribe (Adivasi) community.
  • The applicant should reside within a designated tribal area, or be a tribal cultivator living outside such regions.
  • Farmers from the Dang district are not eligible for this scheme.

Application Process

Farmers should apply online through the official I-Khedut Portal. The steps are given below.

STEP 1 - Register on the I-Khedut portal by selecting the beneficiary type as Farmer, Institutional or otherwise.

STEP 2 - Fill in the credentials including address, district, taluka, village and bank account details.

STEP 3 - Verify the mobile number using the OTP provided.

STEP 4 - Log in to the profile, go to the Agricultural Schemes section and locate this scheme.

STEP 5 - Click on the Apply button to submit the application and keep a printout of the confirmed receipt for records.
