| Startup Grant (PoC / Prototype) | Up to ₹20 lakh per startup |

Important guidelines:
- The grant is given in milestone-based installments. The Experts Advisory Committee (EAC) decides the exact grant amount and schedule based on performance.

- The 5% management fee must be used for administrative spending, selection and due diligence of startups, and performance monitoring.
- All milestones must be met to receive the next installments. A proportionate management fee is released with each installment.
- The grant should be used within three years of receiving the first installment.
- If at least 50% of the funds are not used within the first two years, the incubator will not be eligible for further drawdowns and must return the unutilized funds with interest.
As an incubator, the responsibility is to provide physical infrastructure, testing facilities, and mentorship in areas like finance, legal, and human resources. If a startup chooses not to use the physical space, all other available resources should still be offered. Startups selected under this scheme should not be charged any fees.
