• Only one member per ration card can claim the subsidy, even if the family owns more than one two-wheeler. For example, if Ramesh holds a valid ration card and owns a bike registered in his name in Jharkhand, he can apply for this subsidy.

Application Process

STEP 1 - Visit the official website at JSFSS Jharkhand official portal or download the CMSUPPORT app from the Google Play Store.

STEP 2 - Sign in using your 12 digit ration card number as the user ID and the last 8 digits of the head of family's Aadhaar number as the password.

STEP 3 - Select your name from the family member list shown on the screen.

STEP 4 - Fill in your valid driving license number and your two-wheeler registration details. Make sure there are no extra spaces between letters and numbers.

STEP 5 - The system sends an OTP to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. Verify it to complete your registration.

Verification and Disbursement

Once you submit your application, the District Transport Office (DTO) checks your vehicle details against the Vahan database. After their verification, the District Supply Officer (DSO) gives the final approval. If the status stays pending at DTO for more than 15 days, you can visit the DSO office with a physical copy of your RC and Aadhaar for a manual check. The subsidy amount is then paid through direct benefit transfer (DBT).
