Benefits
Financial support is paid every year and rises as the child moves to higher classes. The board has fixed the following amounts for each study level.
- Primary and Middle School (Class 1-8): ₹8,400 per year, given for both boys and girls equally.
- Secondary and Senior Secondary (Class 9-12): ₹12,000 per year, for children studying in these classes.
- Graduation Level: ₹36,000 per year, for arts, science, commerce and BBA courses.
- Post-Graduation Level: ₹60,000 per year, for arts, commerce and science faculties.
- Diploma Courses: ₹48,000 per year, for courses of one, two or three year duration.
- Polytechnic Diploma: ₹60,000 per year, for the three year polytechnic program.
- Professional or Research Courses: ₹1,20,000 per year, for medical, engineering and PhD programs.

Eligibility
To receive the benefit, the parent must first become a registered member of the board. The registration rules for the construction worker are given below.
- Applicants must be residents of Himachal Pradesh and working in building or other construction work.
- Applicants must be established Building or Construction Workers aged 18 to 60 years.
- Workers must have completed at least 90 days of construction work within the last 12 months.
- The worker's registration must be active and validly renewed, and the annual contribution must be paid in advance.
