Odisha government runs two separate free laptop schemes for students in 2026. One is for visually impaired students under the Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (SSEPD) department at ssepd.gov.in, and the other is for meritorious +2 pass students, which now works as a direct cash transfer of ₹30,000 instead of a physical laptop.
