Atmanirbhar Assam (Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan) is now in its 2.0 phase, with applications closed and launch/implementation moving into a new stage in 2026. The scheme was formally launched in a major public event on 6 February 2026 in Guwahati, where the state government highlighted financial support and entrepreneurship push for youth.
Under this drive, Assam aims to create over 2 lakh self-reliant youth by combining training, handholding and financial support over the next couple of years. Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2.0 (CMAAA 2.0) opened online applications on 1 February 2025 for self-employment support. Over 1.06 lakh applications were submitted on the official portal, and the dashboard now shows district-wise processing and selection status for these applicants.

How to Check Atmanirbhar Assam Beneficiary List 2026 Online
The beneficiary selection and list publication are happening through the official portal; a dedicated dashboard and beneficiary-list section have been activated for CMAAA 2.0. Final beneficiary lists for 2026 are being uploaded online; applicants can check their status by selecting district, block and other filters on the CMAAA portal dashboard.
- Visit the Official Website of the scheme at https://cmaaa.assam.gov.in.
- From the home page, check for the latest update on the Atmanirbhar Assam Scheme 2.0.
- Click on the “Beneficiary List” of Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom (CMAAA) 2.0 link.
- Select your district, block or area details and click on “View List”.
- The list of beneficiaries of CMAAA will open which can also be downloaded in PDF format.
- Check your details like name, Aadhar number, and application number to confirm if you’re a beneficiary.

Financial Assistance and Benefits (CMAAA 2.0 Framework)
Eligible youth receive a mix of government grant plus interest-free loan, with total assistance of ₹2 lakh for general graduates/ITI/polytechnic etc. and ₹5 lakh for professional degree holders (engineering, medical, agriculture, etc.).
First installment is released as a subsidy/grant portion, while the second installment is an interest-free loan to be repaid after a grace period, typically starting 5 years after business establishment and spread over about 10 years.
Beneficiaries must undergo 1-month entrepreneurship/skill training and get a one-time ₹10,000 stipend on successful completion.
Press releases record that the first installment has already been distributed to tens of thousands of selected entrepreneurs, and further disbursements are being rolled out district-wise.

Chief Minister Atmanirbhar Assam Abhijan (CMAAA) is a state-level scheme that promotes self-reliance and entrepreneurship among Assam’s youth. It offers financial help and loans to start small businesses, creating job opportunities, especially in rural and semi-urban areas.
The goal is to help educated, unemployed youth in Assam become self-employed. Through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), the government provides financial assistance for starting or expanding small businesses. The scheme supports sectors like agriculture, horticulture, fisheries, dairy, garments, plantations, wood-based industries and small service units.
