Swachhta Udyami Yojana (SUY)
Swachhta Udyami Yojana (SUY) Scheme was launched on 2nd October 2014 on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. This SUY scheme has twin objective of cleanliness and providing livelihood to Safai Karamcharis and liberated Manual Scavengers to achieve the overall goal of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister.
- NSKFDC is providing financial assistance (loan) to the target group through its channelizing agencies.
- NSKFDC is also providing direct assistance to ULB’s for purchase of sanitation related equipment.
- In addition, NSKFDC is also providing capital subsidy under Self Employment for Rehabilitation of Manual Scavengers (SRMS) for procurement of sanitation related equipment/vehicles.
