PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana Online Registration / Application Form

Below is the complete procedure to make online registration for PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana 2026:-

STEP 1 - Visit the official PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana portal at maandhan.in or go to your nearest Common Service Center (CSC) with the required details.

STEP 2 - On the homepage, click on the "Click Here to Apply Now" link as shown below:-

STEP 3 - You will be directed to the "Digitalseva Connect" portal, which is operated by the Common Service Center operator.

STEP 4 - The CSC will enroll the beneficiary and the installment will be calculated on the basis of the age criteria. The first installment is deducted through the CSC wallet and the subscriber has to pay in cash.

STEP 5 - After making the successful payment, an online Shram Yogi Pension Number is generated. An acknowledgement cum debit mandate is also generated for the beneficiary's signature.

STEP 6 - The Common Service Center scans and uploads the signed debit mandate of the beneficiary. Then the CSC prints and hands over the Shram Yogi Card to the beneficiary.

Eligibility Criteria

All the candidates who want to register or apply for the PMSYM scheme must check the eligibility first. The candidates must fulfill the following minimum eligibility criteria to become eligible for PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana (PM-SYM):-

A) All the beneficiaries must belong to 18 to 40 years of age.

B) The income of the candidate must be less than ₹15,000 per month and the person must be working in the unorganized sector.

C) The person must not be an income tax payer.

D) Applicants must not be engaged in the organized sector with membership of Employees Provident Fund (EPF), National Pension Scheme (NPS) or Employees State Insurance Corp (ESIC).

E) The applicant must have a savings bank account or a Jan Dhan account with a mobile number linked to it.

F) The person should possess an Aadhaar number.

Age Based Pension Scheme

PMSYM Yojana 2026 is an age based pension scheme which depends on the starting age of the subscriber. A person who joins at 30 years of age has to make a monthly contribution of ₹105 till the age of 60 years. In that case, the individual pays ₹37,800 and an equal amount is contributed by the central government.

In this pension scheme for unorganized workers, each beneficiary has to make a certain contribution. This voluntary subscriber contribution ranges from ₹55 to ₹200 per month. The amount which any worker has to contribute monthly is based on the age and has to be paid till the age of 60 years (check the pension chart). The same contribution is made to the individual PMSYM account every month. For example, if a person enters the scheme at the age of 29 years, he is required to contribute ₹100 per month till the age of 60 years and an equal amount of ₹100 is contributed by the central government. After attaining the age of 60 years, the government provides a fixed monthly pension of ₹3,000 for the lifetime of the individual.

In case of death during the pension period, the spouse starts getting family pension. This pension amount is equal to half of what was being paid to the individual. On the death of the subscriber and the spouse, the corpus is credited back to the Pension Fund of the government. Now all the people working in the unorganized sector have to make a monthly contribution of ₹55 to ₹200 per month and then the government provides them ₹3,000 monthly pension after retirement.
