Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Interventions: Reimbursement of GST Amount for Promoting Destination Wedding is a state scheme of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu that helps local MSME service providers get back the GST they pay while hosting destination weddings. The scheme is open for applications in 2026 under the fresh RAMP Interventions 2026 notification issued by the Department of Industries.
Under this scheme, an eligible MSME can claim a reimbursement of the actual GST amount paid, or up to ₹5,00,000, whichever is lower, spread over two consecutive financial years. The scheme supports at least 25 MSMEs and is run by the District Industries Centre (DIC) of the Union Territory.
RAMP GST Reimbursement for Destination Wedding - About the Scheme
RAMP, which stands for Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance, is a World Bank supported programme launched by the Government of India to improve the productivity, competitiveness, and strength of micro, small and medium enterprises. The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises runs this programme for 2022 to 2027.
The Department of Industries of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu has used this programme to roll out a set of financial reimbursement sub-schemes. One of these interventions is the reimbursement of GST paid for promoting destination weddings inside the Union Territory.
The latest rules are part of the RAMP Interventions 2026 framework. A notification numbered DIC/14(275)/2025/238, dated 01/04/2026, was issued by the Department of Industries and published in the official gazette No. 13 on 17/04/2026. This keeps the scheme active for the current period.
The main aim is to make the Union Territory a more attractive place for destination weddings. By giving back the GST paid, local hotels, resorts and other wedding service providers get a reason to host such events, which in turn brings more tourists and business to the region.
