Ministry of Human Resource Development, Central government is inviting online application forms for the Prime Minister Research Fellowship Scheme. Subsequently, PMRF scheme will attract the best talent for Doctoral Studies (Ph.D.) in reputed institutions like IITs and IISc. Accordingly, interested candidates can apply online for PM Research Fellowship through the official website pmrf.in
The primary objective of PM Research Fellowship Scheme is to promote research with focus on national priorities. Moreover, govt. wants to promote Research in cutting edge technologies and science areas.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online and fill PMRF Online Application Form through the official website between 24 February 2018 and 31 March 2018.

- Next click the “Please Click Here To Apply Online” link present at the bottom of the page.

- Here candidates can fill all the necessary details accurately and upload supporting documents along with fees payment receipt.
- Finally, candidates can click the “Submit” button to complete the PMRF Application Process.

PMRF Application Fee 2018
The candidates must pay Rs. 1000 as PMRF Application Fees through the online mode to State Bank Of India (SBI). Accordingly, the direct link to make fee payment is given below:-
PMRF Application Fee
Through this link, candidates will get directed to the SBI Collect page. Here candidates have to accept the “Terms and Conditions” and then select the Payment Category as PMRF Application Fee 2018 and then make the required payment.
After successful payment, candidates can download the PDF file of e-receipt along with SBI Collect Reference Number. Moreover, candidates have to upload this SBI Collect E-receipt PDF file and enter the SBI Collect Refernce Number to complete the application process.

The candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to become eligible for Prime Minister Research Fellowship Scheme:-
— The candidate must have completed or pursuing the final year of 4 year undergraduate (UG) or 5 year integrated M.Tech or 5 year integrated M.Sc. or 5 year undergraduate-postgraduate (UG – PG) dual degree programs in Science and Technology streams from IISc / IITs / NITs / IISERs and centrally funded IIIT.
— Subsequently, candidates must have secured at-least CGPA / CPI of 8 (out of 10). However for candidates in 5 year integrated or dual degree programs in which separate CGPA are awarded for UG & PG parts, then the CGPA / CPI of UG part of first 4 years will get considered.
— Moreover, the candidates must have completed their necessary academic qualification in the past 5 years.

PM Research Fellowship Amount / PMRF Salary
The candidates will get the following amount / salary for pursuing Doctoral Studies (Ph.D.):-
