Electricity Subsidy for Chhattisgarh Residents
Smt. Priyanka Gandhi also announced an electricity subsidy scheme for Chhattisgarh residents on the lines of Delhi free electricity scheme. If voted to power, the congress led state government would benefit the households utilising up to 200 units of electricity in a month. Around 42 lakh beneficiaries would not have to pay any electricity bill, said the Congress leader.
Previously, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had made the announcement of housing for over 17 lakh people, caste census and loan waivers for farmers.
