Who Can Apply: Eligibility Conditions
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
- Registration with Gujarat Labour Welfare Board is mandatory.
- Applicants must belong to the Scheduled Tribe category.
- Must have completed class 12 from a recognized board and have secured at least 70 percentile or more.
- Students who have taken admission in a professional or designing course will be given 50% of the laptop price limit of Rs. 50,000/- or Rs. 25,000/- whichever is lower.
- Only students whose parents are working in a factory/institution in the state of Gujarat and whose parents have been paying the Labor Welfare Fund of the concerned parent at this office for the last one year will be eligible for the benefit of this scheme.
- The laptop should be purchased in the name of the student.
- Students who have taken admission abroad are not eligible for the benefit of this scheme.
- The application should be made within 6 (six) months of purchasing the laptop in the same year in which the board examination was taken.
