Haryana government has transferred the first installment of Rs. 2100 under the Lado Lakshmi Yojana on 1st November 2025, marking Haryana Day celebrations. All women who are eligible and included in the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana (DDLLY) beneficiary list can now check their payment status online on the Social Justice Department portal of Haryana Govt.

Under the first installment, Haryana government deposited than Rs 109 crore to bank accounts of over 5.22 lakh women under the “Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana” through Direct benefit Transfer. This portal helps beneficiaries confirm whether the payment has reached their bank account and verify their inclusion in the list using details like Aadhaar Number, Bank Account Number, or Pension ID.

The Haryana government is planning to change how it gives money under the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana (DDLLY) scheme. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said on Saturday (15 November 2025) that instead of getting money every month, beneficiaries will now get the full amount every six months. Instead of ₹ 2,100 per month, people will now receive ₹ 12,600 every six months.

Saini explained, “We have already started the Lado Lakshmi Yojana and are giving out ₹ 2,100 per month. I had kept ₹ 5,000 crore for this in the yearly budget. We will increase this amount slowly. I told the officers that ₹ 2,100 per month is a small amount, so we should give it in two parts every year.” He added, “When the money collects, we will give it to them with interest.

This way, a poor person can also do some work, start a small business, or help the family move forward. I have asked the officers to discuss this change.” This announcement comes just two weeks after the BJP government gave the first monthly payment of ₹ 109.65 crore to 5,22,162 eligible beneficiaries on November 1st.

The scheme started on September 25th. Married and unmarried women between 23 and 60 years old can apply, provided their family’s yearly income is up to ₹ 1 lakh. When the first payment was made, Saini had said that by October 31st midnight, “a total of 6,97,697 women had applied for help on the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi mobile app.”

After submitting an application, the checks are done within 24 to 48 hours. Eligible applicants get an SMS asking them to upload a live photo for verification using Aadhaar (e-KYC). Once verified, the SEWA Department gives them a beneficiary ID, and then the money is sent straight to their bank accounts.
