YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme has been replaced by the new Nethanna Sevalo Scheme in Andhra Pradesh. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu launched Nethanna Sevalo on 7 August 2026 at Chirala in Bapatla district on the occasion of the 12th National Handloom Day. Under the new scheme, eligible BPL handloom weaver families get ₹25,000 per year directly in their bank accounts.

Earlier, the YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme gave ₹24,000 per year to handloom weavers of the state. Apply Online and Payment Status for Nethanna Sevalo Scheme

Applications for the Nethanna Sevalo scheme are accepted through the village and ward secretariats. The first batch of applications for 2026 was completed before 5 August 2026, and the payment was released on 7 August 2026. Eligible weavers who missed the first batch can contact their village or ward secretariat for the next round.

STEP 1 - Visit the nearest village or ward secretariat in your area and ask for the Nethanna Sevalo scheme application form.

STEP 2 - Fill in the application form with your personal details such as name, father or husband name, address, Aadhaar number and bank account details.

STEP 3 - Attach the required documents like Aadhaar card, BPL certificate, handloom registration certificate and bank passbook copy.

Andhra Pradesh government approved the Nethanna Sevalo scheme in the state cabinet meeting held on 23 July 2026. YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme History

YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme was started by the previous state government to provide financial support to handloom weavers. Former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had promised this scheme for handloom weavers of Andhra Pradesh during his padayatra. The scheme was rolled out in four phases from December 2019.

The first phase was rolled out from 21 December 2019 with an outlay of ₹191.91 crore. The second phase was rolled out on 20 June 2020 with an outlay of ₹194.46 crore and benefited 69,308 weavers. The third phase was rolled out on 10 August 2021 with an outlay of ₹192.08 crore and benefited 80,032 weavers. The fourth phase was launched on 24 August 2022 with an outlay of ₹192.09 crore and benefited 80,036 weavers.

Under the old scheme, each weaver family got ₹24,000 per year and ₹1.2 lakh in five years. Till the fourth phase, the state government had spent around ₹770.54 crore on the scheme.
