For the vaccine manufacturing sub-scheme, the government gives Credit-Linked Interest Subsidy and Capital Subsidy to eligible vaccine units. This helps strengthen health infrastructure and builds local industrial self-reliance.

Benefits

Eligible vaccine manufacturing units can get two main financial benefits under this scheme:

Benefit Type Subsidy Details
Credit Linked Interest Subsidy 70% per annum, capped at a maximum of ₹60,00,000 per annum for 5 years or until loan repayment, whichever is earlier.
Capital Investment Subsidy 15% of the investment, up to a maximum limit of ₹10,00,00,000 (10 crore).

Eligibility

To qualify for this scheme, a unit needs to meet the following conditions:

  • The unit should be a New or Existing Manufacturing or Service unit taking up expansion or diversification within the MSME sector.
  • The unit must start commercial production between 20th May, 2022, and 19th May, 2027.
  • The enterprise must be located within the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu.
  • The application should be submitted through the official online portal within one year of the first loan disbursement or before the start of commercial production, whichever is later.

Exclusions

A unit will not get the interest subsidy if its term loan is sanctioned more than one year after the official date of commercial production. The subsidy also does not cover penal interest or any other bank charges.

Application Process

Follow these simple steps to apply online for the scheme:

STEP 1 - Visit the official Registration page and create your account.

STEP 2 - Verify your email address using the confirmation link sent to your inbox.

STEP 3 - Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number to confirm your contact details. Once verified, you will get your login details through email.

STEP 4 - Log in to your account at the Login page using your mobile number and the PIN received in your email.

STEP 5 - Open the Departments & Services menu and choose District Industries Centre DD & DNH.

STEP 6 - Click the Apply button for the Investment Promotion Scheme (2022-2027), fill out the Common Application Form, upload the required documents, and submit.

  • Goods and Services Tax (GST) registration and Partnership Deed or Firm Registration Certificate or Incorporation Certificate.
  • Udyam Registration or Industrial Entrepreneur Memorandum and land purchase deed or registered lease agreement of minimum 5 years.
  • Electricity supply sanction order and latest bill, along with the Consent to Operate or Renewal document from PCC, DNH & DD.
  • Factory licence, a signed Undertaking, and Chartered Accountant certified bills for the investment made.

What investments are eligible for these incentives?

Incentives can be claimed for new buildings, new plant and machinery, and essential equipment, but the cost of land is not covered.

What information should I provide every year?

The unit must submit data on production, sales, annual turnover, and employment numbers to the District Industries Centre before the end of September each year.

Do I need to follow pollution control measures?

Yes, the enterprise must follow the environmental and pollution control standards set by the Pollution Control Committee (PCC).

How long must the unit stay in production?

The enterprise must remain in active production for 5 years. If it closes early, the government will recover the disbursed Capital Investment Subsidy as land revenue arrears.

Are expansion and diversification both covered?

A unit can get the subsidy for either expansion or diversification, but only for one activity during the whole policy period.
