AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme 2026-27 is accepting applications on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). The online application window opened on 1 June 2026 and the last date to apply is 31 October 2026. The scheme is run by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to give financial support to orphans, wards of parents who died due to Covid-19, wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed), and children of parents suffering from a life-threatening illness.

The Swanath scheme helps such students continue their technical education in AICTE approved institutions and courses. Selected students get a scholarship of ₹50,000 per year for the full duration of their course. The money is sent directly to the bank account of the student through DBT payment.

For the academic year 2026-27, AICTE has announced a total of 2000 scholarships, with 1000 each for technical degree and technical diploma students. The official notification for the year was released on 19 June 2026, and the scheme guidelines are available on the AICTE website.
