Uttar Pradesh government launched Lokmata Ahilyabai Matrushakti Yatra Yojana to help senior women in the state. Women aged 60 and above can now travel for free on all UPSRTC buses.

Health scheme updates

During the meeting, officials received orders to improve how health schemes work. 290 ASHA workers did not help with any deliveries under the scheme. The administration ordered formal notices against them. Officials are also focusing on breast cancer screenings through Namo Shakti Rath. They are also fixing gaps in the local vaccination program to reach more people in every gram sabha.

Farmers in Chhattisgarh's Dhamtari district showed high interest in Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana this year. Official data shows 81,000 farmers insured their crops across 84,277.75 hectares. This is the highest count in five years. This is a 10 percent increase from last year, with 9,300 more farmers joining the scheme.

Increasing farmer participation

Agriculture officials say this rise shows farmers are more aware of protecting crops from bad weather. Farmers said getting paid on time for crop loss helps them keep their finances stable. It helps them prepare for the next season without getting into debt. Dhamtari Collector Avinash Mishra noted that this trend shows small and medium farmers are now more focused on protecting their income.

Jal Shakti Ministry and Rural Development Ministry asked states and Union territories to combine water security and sanitation work into the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (VB-G RAM G) framework. This change helps share resources for drinking water, greywater management, and waste disposal.

Water management plans

States must match village action plans under Jal Jeevan Mission 2.0 and Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) 2.0 with Viksit Gram Panchayat Plans. Officials have orders to focus on groundwater recharge and rainwater harvesting, mainly in areas short on water.

Rules set a specific spending limit: 65% in over-used blocks, 40% in semi-critical blocks, and 30% in safe blocks. You must geo-tag all assets built through this work on the Viksit Bharat National Rural Infrastructure Stack to keep the system clear.

Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary started three schemes to help women with safety, education, and business in Bihar. Before Rakshabandhan, the government sent out 4,700 two-wheelers for the Abhaya brigade to help police patrol and keep women and students safe.

The state also started the Chief Minister Balika PhD Fellowship. This scheme gives a monthly payment of 10,000 rupees for four years to 1,000 female research scholars.

Support for women entrepreneurs

Also, the Bihar Ki Beti Startup Challenge Yojana will help 2,100 women entrepreneurs. They will get seed money between 50,000 rupees and 2 lakh rupees to help with local ideas and work opportunities.

Helping women in Madhya Pradesh

The women gave a thank-you letter to the Chief Minister. They were thankful for the extra money given as a special festival gift. During the meeting, CM Mohan Yadav said his government works to help women stay safe, feel proud, and be independent. He said the relationship between the state and its sisters is a promise to look after them always.

Two women CISF workers, Raskar Ashwini and Poonam Yadav, also joined the celebration while working at the airport. They said the moment helped them feel close to their families even though they were away for the festival.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu ordered schools to remove the caste column from admission forms starting from the 2027-28 school year. This change helps make classrooms more equal and stops social bias. Although the column is gone from general records, students from Scheduled Castes will still give these details when applying for government welfare schemes. This ensures they get support without any problems.

Important government schemes

Government schemes were also discussed during the announcement. Rajiv Gandhi Start-up Swarozgar Saur Yojana gives a 4% to 5% subsidy on solar projects for local business owners. Also, the Higher Education Loan Scheme helps students by offering loans up to ₹20 lakh at a 1% interest rate. Apna Parivar Sukhi Parivar Yojana helps very poor families by giving 300 units of free electricity and a monthly pension of ₹1,500 for women.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta shared that 9.5 lakh women have signed up for the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana in just one month. The scheme launched on August 1 and provides ₹2,500 every month to eligible women in Delhi.

Details on scheme payments and registration

At an event at Talkatora Stadium, the government handed out verification letters to the first 2,500 women. Funds for August will reach bank accounts starting September 1. There is no deadline to apply, and the government has not set a limit on the number of people who can get this benefit.

Even if you signed up as late as August 24, you still get the full monthly amount. This scheme helps women become financially independent.
