UP Shram Vibhag Yojana List 2026 - BOCW Board Schemes Online Application

Uttar Pradesh government has released UP Shram Vibhag Yojana List 2026 at upbocw.in. Building and other construction workers (BOCW) can get benefits of any of the schemes listed in the UP Labour Department welfare scheme section. These BOCW board schemes are made for registered workers who work in unorganized sectors across the state. This article explains the complete UP Labour Department welfare scheme list.

Workers in building and other construction work come from unorganized sectors and mostly belong to poor and weaker families. To improve their working conditions and provide financial support, the government set up a board to help them through different schemes. This board has now released the UP Shram Vibhag Yojana list to support labourers.

The aim is to raise the standard of living of workers in building and other construction works by improving the quality of their work and giving financial help under different schemes.

UP Shram Vibhag Yojana List 2026 - Labour Dept (BOCW) Schemes

Unorganized sector workers can now check the complete UP Shram Vibhag Yojana list launched by the BOCW board of the Labour Department in Uttar Pradesh. The board runs more than twenty welfare schemes for registered construction workers, covering maternity support, education, housing, medical help, pension and accident cover.

Matritva, Shishu Evam Balika Madad Yojana

Eligibility

This scheme covers maternity, child and girl child support for registered workers. The benefit is limited to the first two deliveries of the worker.

• Maternity benefit is payable to a woman worker only in case of institutional delivery.
• Girl child support is given for the first girl child and also for the second child if it is a girl. A legally adopted girl child of a childless couple is also covered.

Benefits

• Registered male workers get a one-time maternity benefit of Rs. 6,000.
• Women workers get an amount equal to 3 months of minimum wage for institutional delivery plus Rs. 1,000 as medical bonus.
• Women workers get an amount equal to 6 weeks of minimum wage in case of abortion and 2 weeks of minimum wage in case of sterilization.
• Rs. 20,000 is given for a son and Rs. 25,000 for a daughter per child.
• A fixed deposit of Rs. 25,000 is made when the first child is a girl or the second child is also a girl or a girl is legally adopted. For a girl born with disability, a fixed deposit of Rs. 50,000 is made. The maturity amount is paid only if the girl remains unmarried till 18 years of age. If this condition is not met, no amount is paid.

Medhavi Chhatra Puraskar Yojana

Eligibility

All registered workers are eligible whose sons and daughters have scored 55 percent or more in classes 5 to 9, 50 percent or more in classes 10 to 12, and 60 percent or more in ITI, BA, BCom, BSc, MA, MCom, MSc and LLB. Admission to polytechnic diploma, engineering or medical degree after clearing a national or state level entrance exam is also covered.

• Principal's certificate for admission to the next class
• Readable copy of the bank account
• Proof of admission and fee payment for technical courses

Benefits

• Prize amount as per the table in the notification, starting from class 6.
• If the student fails in the current class, the second installment is not paid.

Sant Ravidas Shiksha Sahayta Yojana

Eligibility

This scheme gives scholarship support to up to two children below 25 years of age of registered construction workers, from class 1 up to higher education.

• Only permanent residents of the state are eligible.

• Residence certificate proving permanent residence in Uttar Pradesh
• Copy of age or birth certificate of the child
• Certificate from the school principal or competent officer for minimum 50 percent attendance in the current class
• Copy of admission card and fee receipt for polytechnic, ITI, engineering, medical or management courses
• Certificate from the principal or competent officer for admission through national or state level entrance exam in vocational courses
• Copy of Aadhaar card and bank passbook of the registered worker

Benefits

• Benefit is given for only two children.
• Rs. 150 per month for classes 1 to 5, Rs. 200 per month for classes 6 to 10, and Rs. 250 per month for classes 11 and 12.
• For ITI or equivalent training, the amount equals the government fee. Rs. 1,000 for graduation, Rs. 2,000 for post-graduation, Rs. 8,000 per month for engineering or medical post-graduation, and Rs. 12,000 for research.
• A cycle is given to girls who pass classes 10 and 12.

Nirman Kamgar Awas Sahayta Yojana

Eligibility

This housing support scheme helps registered construction workers build or repair their own house.

• Worker must be updated registered.
• The worker or family must not have a permanent house and must have enough land to build one.
• The applicant or any family member must not have received housing benefit under any central or state scheme.
• Registration must be at least 5 years old and the applicant's maximum age is 55 years.
• Benefit is given only once in the whole life.

Required Documents

• Application form in 3 copies

• Permanent residence certificate of the applicant
• Proof of land available with the applicant
• Declaration that no housing benefit was taken under any other scheme and the family has no permanent house

Benefits

• Rs. 1,00,000 is given to build or buy a new house after meeting the set standards.
• Rs. 15,000 is given as a grant to repair an existing house.
• Both benefits cannot be given to the same beneficiary at the same time.
• The scheme matches the standards of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Chikitsa Suvidha Yojana

Eligibility

The worker must be registered with the board as a construction worker and must have paid the updated contribution.

Benefits

• Married construction workers get Rs. 3,000 and unmarried workers get Rs. 2,000 every year, paid directly to the bank account by the board.

Residential School Scheme

Eligibility

This scheme gives quality education to children of registered construction workers aged 6 to 14 years through primary, junior high school and secondary education.

• Sons and daughters of registered construction workers aged 6 to 14 years are eligible for admission in residential schools.

• Free residential education for children of registered construction workers aged 6 to 14 years.
• Free accommodation, clothes, food and other facilities.
• Run in 12 districts of the state.

Kanya Vivah Sahayta Yojana

Eligibility

This scheme gives marriage support for the daughter of a registered construction worker.

• Registered worker with updated contribution payment.
• Minimum registration period of 100 days must be complete.
• The daughter must be at least 18 years old and the groom at least 21 years old.
• The same applies in the case of the marriage of a woman registered worker herself.

Benefits

• Rs. 55,000 per daughter for same-caste marriage and Rs. 61,000 for inter-caste marriage of the unmarried daughter of a registered worker or the marriage of a registered woman worker herself.
• For a group marriage of at least 11 couples, the support is Rs. 65,000 plus Rs. 7,000 per couple as event expense. Also, Rs. 5,000 each is paid in advance for the dress of the bride and groom.
• For widow marriage and legal divorce cases, an amount equal to the group marriage is given.

Kaushal Vikas Takniki Unnayan Evam Pramadan Yojana

Eligibility

This skill development scheme gives free training to registered workers and their family members.

• The applicant himself or his husband, wife or father must be a registered construction worker with updated contribution.
• If the registered worker wants training himself, his age must be between 18 and 35 years.
• For dependents, there is no age limit for the wife. There is no maximum age limit for an unmarried daughter. The maximum age for a dependent son is 21 years.

• Training is currently done through the UP Skill Development Mission.

Benefits

• Free training is given by the UP Skill Development Mission.
• If the registered worker takes training himself, an amount equal to the minimum wage of an unskilled worker is reimbursed.
• An evaluation exam must be passed after the training.

Saur Urja Sahayta Yojana

Eligibility

This scheme provides solar energy equipment to registered construction workers.

• The applicant must be a registered worker with updated contribution.
• Only one person in the family gets the benefit only once.
• Preference is given to applicants whose children study in classes 9 to 12.

• Declaration of no electricity connection
• Additional contribution of Rs. 250 paid online by the worker
• Documents for the desired preference
• Due to limited supply, installation is done on the basis of seniority.

Benefits

• Installed at the permanent residence of the registered construction worker.
• 2 LED bulbs, 1 DC table fan, 1 solar panel, charging controller and 1 mobile charger are installed.
• The supplied equipment has a 5 year warranty.
• Selection and tender process of the equipment is pending at the board level.

Mahatma Gandhi Pension Sahayta Yojana

Eligibility

This pension scheme supports registered construction workers who have completed 60 years of age.

• Updated registered workers permanently living in UP who have completed 60 years of age.
• Minimum registration period of 10 years.
• The beneficiary must not be getting any pension from any central or state scheme (except state employee insurance corporation).
• Pension is approved by a committee headed by the District Magistrate and paid directly by the board.

Required Documents

• Proof of updated contribution payment till completing 60 years of age.
• Readable copy of Aadhaar card, bank passbook and residence certificate.
• Affidavit that no pension is received from any central or state government department.
• Life certificate must be given every year in April.
• In case of death of the pension holder, the family must inform the district labour office within 1 month.

Benefits

• Rs. 1,000 per month is given to each eligible worker.
• In case of death of the beneficiary, the pension is given to the wife or husband.
• Pension increases by Rs. 50 every 2 years, up to a maximum of Rs. 1,250.
• The board pays the contribution of workers registered under the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana.

Kamgar Gambhir Bimari Sahayta Yojana

Eligibility

This scheme gives medical support to registered workers for serious illness.

• Updated registered worker.
• Workers who are not eligible for benefit under PM Jan Arogya Yojana and CM Jan Arogya Yojana.
• The registered worker, his wife or husband, unmarried daughters and sons below 21 years are covered.

Required Documents

• Proof of updated registration
• Documents related to the illness
• Doctor's certificate in the set format
• Original bills for purchase of medicines
• Proof of being a dependent for unmarried daughter or son below 21 years.

Benefits

• Full reimbursement equal to the benefit under Ayushman Bharat Yojana for treatment in government, autonomous or SACHIS empaneled hospitals.
• Advance payment can also be made to the hospital if the hospital gives an estimate for treatment or surgery.
• No maximum amount is fixed.

Nirman Kamgar Antyesti Sahayta Yojana

Eligibility

The worker for whom the claim is made must be registered with the board and his contribution must be effective on the date of death.

Benefits

Rs. 25,000 is given to the dependents of the deceased worker under this scheme.

Nirman Kamgar Mrityu, Viklangta Sahayta Evam Akshamta Pension Yojana

Eligibility

This scheme gives support for death, disability and a pension for incapacity.

• Updated registered worker.
• For pension, the worker must not be eligible for pension from the State Insurance Corporation.
• Permanent disability must be 50 percent or more.

Required Documents

• Proof of updated registration.
• Death certificate, first information report for accidental death, copy of postmortem report.
• For disability cases, copy of the disability certificate issued by the Chief Medical Officer and a copy of the first information report.

Benefits

• Rs. 5,00,000 on death due to an accident at the workplace or elsewhere. Of this, Rs. 1 lakh is paid to the account and the remaining Rs. 4 lakh is given through fixed deposit.
• Rs. 3 lakh for full permanent disability and Rs. 2 lakh for permanent partial disability due to an accident at the workplace.
• Rs. 2 lakh for full permanent disability or normal death away from the workplace. Rs. 1 lakh for temporary partial disability.
• Rs. 50,000 financial support in case of death of an unregistered worker in an accident at the workplace.
• Pension of Rs. 1,500, 1,250 or 1,000 for life in case of full incapacity due to an accident or illness.

Shauchalay Sahayta Yojana

Eligibility

This scheme helps registered workers build a toilet at their own house.

• Updated registered worker.
• Registered construction workers who have their own house but no toilet facility and have not received such benefit under any other government scheme.
• The family is taken as one unit.
• The beneficiary must have Aadhaar registration and an account in a CBS branch of a nationalized bank.

Required Documents

• Proof of updated registration
• Declaration that no toilet building benefit was received under any other scheme and the family has no permanent house
• Copy of Aadhaar card and bank passbook. The scheme is run through the District Panchayat Raj Officer.

Benefits

• Rs. 12,000 is given in 2 equal installments on applying. The first installment of Rs. 6,000 is given as an incentive advance and the second installment after the toilet is built and use starts, through the District Panchayat Raj Officer.
• Workers are selected by the District Panchayat Raj Officer from the list of registered workers after matching with the baseline survey.
• Payment is transferred to the beneficiary's bank account by the District Panchayat Raj Officer.

Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Chetna Yojana

Eligibility

This scheme spreads awareness about the schemes run by the board among construction workers and the public.

• Made under the Model Welfare Scheme of the central government to make workers aware about worker registration and renewal.
• For awareness of construction workers, an event focused on construction workers with full participation of the labour department and a program of registration and benefit distribution at the district level is organized. Expenses after prior approval of the board secretary are reimbursed. Up to 25 percent of the expense can be given in advance.
• SMS, video clipping, wall writing, hoardings, pamphlets, awareness camps and street plays can be organized for publicity.
• The name and photo of any government officer or public representative cannot be used in awareness campaigns.

Aapda Rahat Sahayta Yojana

Eligibility

This scheme was made keeping in mind the COVID-19 situation to give relief support to registered workers.

• Updated registered worker.

Required Documents

• Fully paperless scheme.
• No application form is required.
• Aadhaar number and bank account details must be available in the database.

Benefits

Updated registered construction workers get a one-time amount of Rs. 1,000 as annual, half-yearly, quarterly or monthly financial support, as decided by the central or state government or the board, paid to the bank account.
