Tripura achieves 100 percent health coverage through PM-JAY and CM-JAY
Tripura has reached full health coverage for its people by joining central PM-JAY scheme with state-sponsored CM-JAY scheme. Government has paid ₹307 crore in claims under PM-JAY and ₹50 crore in claims under CM-JAY.
Scheme details
PM-JAY gives health cover to most of the state population, and CM-JAY gives cover to the remaining residents. Both schemes work as universal health cover for the state.
