Tripura Healthcare Transformation Report 2022-2026

Tripura reached a big step in health services over the last four years. The state government recently shared details of Niramay Arogya Initiatives. These helped improve medical buildings and services across the area. A main point is the low Infant Mortality Rate of 15 per 1,000 live births, as per the September 2025 Sample Registration System Bulletin.

Health improvements in Tripura

Health services are easier to reach by combining Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana. Medical colleges in the state increased from two to four since 2022. Also, the government works with AIIMS, New Delhi, to build super-speciality care and medical training centers. The state started its first Government Dental College in 2023, which helps 63 students now.
