Tripura achieves universal health coverage through PM-JAY and CM-JAY
Tripura achieved universal health coverage by linking central Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana with state-funded CM-JAY. Chief Minister Manik Saha said PM-JAY covers most people, while CM-JAY provides health services to those not in the central scheme.
Financial details
Claims worth ₹307 crore are settled under PM-JAY. State government set aside ₹50 crore more for CM-JAY.
