How to Apply Online for PMSS
Applications are accepted only online. Hard copy or paper applications are not entertained, and one candidate can apply for only one course. Follow the steps below to fill the application form.
STEP 1 - Go to the official Kendriya Sainik Board website at ksb.gov.in and open the PMSS section from the menu bar.
STEP 2 - Click on 'New Application' and then select 'Apply Online' to open the registration form.

STEP 3 - Fill in all the required details correctly, upload the scanned copies of the required documents and submit the form.

Only those students whose parents have served in the armed forces can get the benefit of this scheme. Applicants can apply for courses like BE, B.Tech, BDS, MBBS, BBA, BCA and other approved professional and technical courses. PM Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) Eligibility
Before applying, make sure you meet the eligibility conditions given below.
- Students who have taken admission in the 1st year, except lateral entry and integrated courses, are only eligible to apply. They must apply online on the KSB portal and should have scored 60% and above in the Minimum Educational Qualification (MEQ), that is 10+2, Diploma or Graduation.
- Students studying in the 2nd or later years are not eligible, except for integrated courses where the first portion is academic and the second portion is the professional course.
- Only dependent wards and widows of ex-servicemen and ex-Coast Guard personnel can apply.
- Wards of civilians including para military personnel are not eligible.
