What is Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana 2025?
Finance Minister of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar, announced the launch of the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana during the budget presentation of 2024-25. Through this scheme, economically weak and needy women of the state will receive financial assistance. Women aged 21 to 60 years will get ₹1,500 every month under the Chief Minister’s Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. This financial help will enable women to meet their needs and become self-reliant.
This scheme is inspired by the Ladli Behna Yojana of the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh. Women often can’t meet their small needs due to weak financial conditions and have to depend on others.
