The scheme is still running in 2026. In a recent notice, the Directorate of Art and Culture said it will issue Pension Books to all existing CMAT pensioners from 30 July 2026 to 31 August 2026. Pensioners need to submit a life certificate, two passport-size photos and two stamp-size photos along with the filled form.
Current Chief Minister of Manipur is Yumnam Khemchand Singh, who took office on 4 February 2026. The scheme continues under his government.

STEP 1 - Download the correct application form for the part of the scheme you want, like the artist pension form, from the official website of the Department of Art and Culture.
STEP 2 - Fill in the form with your name, address, Aadhaar number, age, date of birth, field of art and bank details.
STEP 3 - Attach the required documents like age proof, bank account details, bio data and supporting certificates.
STEP 4 - Submit the filled form and documents to the Directorate of Art and Culture office at Palace Compound, Imphal East, between 11:30 am and 3:00 pm.
