Seva Setu Abhiyan for rooftop solar registration held in Kohima from 14 to 16 October 2026

Seva Setu Abhiyan under Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana runs from 14th to 16th October, 2026 at Secretariat junction, Kohima. Department of Power organises the three-day event to push rooftop solar and help homes register and install.

Camp details and subsidies

The camp shares info on eligibility, govt subsidies, bank loans and how to install. People can pick from 26 approved vendors across Nagaland. On-spot registration works for those who qualify.

Er. Lobosang Jamir, Chief Engineer, D&R, Department of Power, said people can get up to ₹85,800 from Centre and ₹50,000 from State Govt. That makes the total subsidy up to ₹1,35,800. The scheme runs until March 2027.

Dr. KD Vizo, Principal Secretary, Power, pointed out on-grid, off-grid and hybrid options. He asked people to use these Centre schemes to spread solar power.
