PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana Seva Setu Camp in Dimapur runs till October 16

A three-day Seva Setu Camp for awareness and help under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSG: MBY) started at the DC's Office Complex, Purana Bazar, Dimapur, on October 14. It runs until October 16.
Executive Engineer, Electrical Division, Dimapur, Er Lhuvoyi, said the scheme helps close the gap between government programs and people by spreading info and making it easier to get benefits. He pointed out how it can lower home electricity bills through rooftop solar setups.
Lhuvoyi mentioned that although the national goal is to reach one crore households, about 40% of that target has been met. In Nagaland, only around 5-6% of its 10,000-household target has been reached, with roughly 500 households getting benefits so far.
Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, NCS, asked people to take advantage of the scheme's benefits. He shared that vendors and bank reps would be there to help with instant registration. Chang also urged people not to wait too long since the subsidy is available only until March.
