Seva Setu Abhiyan launched in Mokokchung under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana
Ajay Moktan, IAS, SDO (Civil), Mokokchung, started Seva Setu Abhiyan under Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana at DC's Office Complex, Mokokchung, on Oct 14.
Central and state give subsidy for home solar panels, covering 70-80% of setup cost. Over 26 approved sellers in Nagaland give 5-year free service. Bank loans also help with payments.
Last date to get subsidy is Mar 31, 2027.
Er Chutsusie Thowachu, Executive Engineer, Electrical Division, Mokokchung, said only homes can install panels now. Sellers like Smart Tech and Native Enterprises will help with forms at DC's Office Complex from Oct 14 to 16, 10 am to 2 pm.
