Nagaland sets November 30, 2026 deadline for Aadhaar linkage of Ayushman cards

Nagaland Health Protection Society made Aadhaar linkage mandatory for all Ayushman cards to get benefits under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. More than 1.14 lakh cards in the state are currently unlinked. People who got their cards between 2018 and September 2022 must finish this by November 30, 2026.

How to link Aadhaar

People can link their cards through these places:

• Card Generation (BIS) portal
• Offices of the Chief Medical Officer
• Common Service Centres
• Village Level Entrepreneurs
• Card vendor agencies
• Empanelled PM-JAY hospitals

If Aadhaar is not linked by the deadline, the card might be disabled. In that case, beneficiaries will need to complete a new e-KYC. The state published a list of beneficiaries who need to link their cards immediately.
