Odisha Govt Spends 40% of Budget on Women, Says CM Majhi

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said 40 per cent of the State Government's total budget goes to women. He mentioned Subhadra Yojana, Lakhpati Didi, Mukhyamantri Kanya Bibaha Yojana and Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangla Yojana.

Girl children covered under the relevant government scheme will get Rs 1 lakh after completing graduation. Study up to postgraduate level is free in government and government-aided institutions.

Free treatment is being given at selected private hospitals across the country under Ayushman Bharat-Gopabandhu Jana Arogya Yojana.

More than 46 lakh activities took place across Odisha during the ninth Rashtriya Poshan Maah. Odisha secured the first position nationally in Aadhaar verification.
