Odisha extends Antyodaya Gruha Yojana till 2029, approves 2.91 lakh houses
Odisha govt will build 2,91,666 more houses under Antyodaya Gruha Yojana. CM Mohan Charan Majhi said this on Thursday.
Scheme runs two extra years now. Ends 2029 instead of 2027. Total cost stays Rs 7,550 crore. But Rs 3,500 crore moves from repairs to new builds.
New cash incentives
Govt updated incentives for finishing homes on time:
- Finish in 5 months, get Rs 35,000. Earlier it was Rs 20,000 for 4 months.
- Done in 7 months? Now Rs 20,000. Was Rs 10,000 for 6 months.
