Educational institutions must provide land records by 31 December 2026

Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari has asked all educational institutions on leaseable land to submit their Record of Rights by 31 December 2026. Out of 52,056 educational institutions in the state, 27,556 have revised their land titles.
Vasundhara Yojana updates
Government allotted houses to 34,251 eligible landless families under Vasundhara Yojana in the last two years. The department is working to resolve pending issues for families under this scheme. For residents of Rajasthan, government support continues for welfare schemes like Rajasthan Shubh Shakti Yojana and Rajasthan Farm Loan Waiver Scheme.
Land record reforms
Officials will digitize all old land titles for the Bhoodan-LRMS Portal. The government stopped mutation and transfer of land titles until digitization is finished to stop illegal activity. Also, 31,906.52 acres of land are registered in the name of Lord Jagannath across 17 districts, with 20,507.36 acres in Khordha district.
