Odisha to fill 45,000 vacant teaching posts over next three years

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said the state government will fill 45,000 vacant teaching posts in schools over the next three years. This was announced at Secondary Board High School in Cuttack on National Teachers' Day.
Education infrastructure updates
The state government is building 2,200 Godavarish Mishra Adarsh Pratamika Vidyalayas for ₹12,000 crore. Also, the government set up 45,000 nursery schools for young children. The state gives mid-day meals and textbooks to students in classes 9 and 10. It also runs Shahid Madho Singh Hath Kharcha Yojana to help tribal children stay in school.
