63,848 Madhu Babu Pension Yojana applications stuck in verification logjam

A total of 63,848 online applications for Madhu Babu Pension Yojana are stuck due to a delay in verification. These eligible people are in the system but face payment delays because of technical errors and unverified profiles in the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities database.

Verification and payment status

The state government started a manual review process to finish checking these files by the August 18 deadline. This delay comes from old database issues and the shift to a new digital payment system. Although the state raised the pension for very senior citizens to ₹3,500 per month, current technical problems keep these applicants from getting their social security support.
