Andhra Pradesh Proposes Six New Industrial Parks Under BHAVYA Scheme

Andhra Pradesh plans to improve its industrial area with six new parks. These fall under Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA), a central government scheme. Industries and Commerce Minister T.G. Bharath told the Assembly that the central government is currently reviewing these proposals.

The state picked specific spots for these projects:

• AP Space City in Tirupati (1,000 acres)
• AP Drone City in Kurnool (485.38 acres)
• Tekulodu Aerospace and Defence Park in Sri Sathya Sai district (500 acres)
• Makavaripalem Organic Food Park in Anakapalli (500 acres)
• Renewable Energy Manufacturing Zone in Prakasam (498 acres)
• Veldurthi Mega Textile Park in Palnadu (500 acres)

Project Details and Planning

These locations were chosen for their good transport links and growth potential. The state government finished the required project reports and master plans for each site. Minister Bharath also mentioned that the government is looking at how to use empty industrial land for future growth.
