Andhra Pradesh Receives Rs 2,448 Crore for National Health Mission

Andhra Pradesh has received a Rs 2,447.98 crore annual plan under National Health Mission for the 2026-27 financial year. This budget follows a 60:40 ratio. Union government will give Rs 1,468.79 crore. State will provide Rs 979.19 crore. Health Minister Y Satya Kumar Yadav said Rs 1,008.50 crore is for staff salaries and hiring.

Health budget details

Specific funds include Rs 116.50 crore for ending tuberculosis and Rs 94.22 crore for Health and Wellness Centres. Emergency 108 ambulance services get Rs 92.95 crore. Maternal and child health programs like Janani Suraksha Yojana and Anaemia Mukt Bharat also get support. Also, Rs 75.50 crore is set aside for new work. This includes emergency heart attack medicine, trauma care, and digital health hubs to help people in remote areas get medical care.
