Andhra Pradesh aims to provide houses to all eligible families by 2029

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu asked officials to roll out Housing for All so every eligible family in the state gets a permanent house by 2029. The government plans to finish 5.52 lakh houses by March 2027.

Construction targets

• 2.05 lakh houses to finish by December 2026.
• 2.74 lakh houses to finish by March 2027.
• 75,000 new houses to get approval by December 2027.
• 1.5 lakh houses to build in urban areas.

Officials said 18.72 lakh houses have approval under PMAY 1.0, PMAY 2.0, and PM Janman, with 13.20 lakh finished. Under Andhra Pradesh Housing Corporation, 11.31 lakh out of 16.11 lakh houses are ready, and 1.88 lakh out of 2.61 lakh houses are finished under AP TIDCO. The government will combine data from RTGS, Awaas Plus, and the Revenue department to find eligible families and show draft lists at Village and Ward Secretariats for Pedalandariki Illu.
