Rajasthan Prasuti Sahayata Yojana 2026 Application Form PDF Download and Apply Online: Rajasthan government runs this social welfare scheme to give cash support to pregnant women from registered construction worker families in the state. Under this scheme, a woman gets ₹20,000 for the birth of a son and ₹21,000 for the birth of a daughter, paid in three installments straight into her bank account. Applications continue to be accepted online in 2026 through the Labour Department Management System (LDMS) portal.
Rajasthan Labour Department runs the scheme for women who hold a valid beneficiary identity card under the Maternity Benefit Act. There is no application fee, and the amount is sent through DBT, so the whole process stays clear and the cash goes directly to the eligible woman. Earlier only women workers could take the benefit, but now registered male workers in the building and construction sector can also apply for their wives.
Rajasthan Prasuti Sahayata Yojana Overview
Prasuti Sahayata Yojana was launched to help women from registered construction worker families in Rajasthan. The main aim is to allow the mother to cover her delivery costs and to encourage hospital delivery so that mother and newborn both get proper medical care. The higher amount for a girl child is a deliberate push to treat sons and daughters equally and to discourage female foeticide.
The benefit is paid in three installments. The first installment of ₹5,000 is released after the delivery is reported, the second installment of ₹5,000 is paid when the child completes one year, and the last installment of ₹10,000 for a son or ₹11,000 for a daughter is paid when the child turns five years old and takes admission in a school or educational institution.
Women who do not get cash support under Janani Suraksha Yojana receive an extra ₹1,000 under this scheme. For the education-linked last installment, the state also runs Rajshree Yojana, which gives additional help for girl children.
