Mumbai Bank has launched a 0% loan scheme for ladki bahin yojana beneficiaries, giving a big boost to women who are already enrolled under the Chief Minister Ladki Bahin Yojana. Under this new loan scheme, eligible women can now avail loans of up to ₹1 lakh at zero interest rates. This scheme was officially rolled out on 4th September 2025 at the bank’s head office in Fort, in the presence of BJP leader and MLA Pravin Darekar, who supported and guided this initiative.
During the launch event, the first 200 women were given loans, and around 5,000 beneficiaries are expected to benefit in the first phase. The main aim is to help women use their monthly ₹1,500 support from Ladki Bahin Yojana as financial security and invest in small businesses or personal needs without worrying about interest rates.

Online Application Process
STEP 1: Visit the official website of Mumbai Bank once the loan portal is activated.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the section “0% Loan Scheme for Ladki Bahin Beneficiaries“.
Step 3: Log in using your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and enter your Ladki Bahin Yojana beneficiary ID.
Step 4: Fill in your personal details, bank account number, and loan amount required (up to ₹1 lakh).
Step 5: Upload scanned copies of Aadhaar, bank passbook, and Ladki Bahin Yojana beneficiary proof.
Step 6: Submit the form and note the application number for tracking.
Offline Process
Offline applications will also be accepted through Mumbai Bank branches, where beneficiaries can fill up a loan form and submit documents directly.

Recent Updates on Ladki Bahin Yojana
The state government has recently started a physical verification drive to remove ineligible beneficiaries after irregularities were found. Despite this, the July installment of ₹1,500 was released on 8th August 2025 for verified women. Now, with this new 0% Loan Scheme, genuine beneficiaries will get an extra push towards financial stability.
The state government is also planning for eKYC for Ladki Bahin Yojana to remove ineligible beneficiaries from the list. The eKYC process may start very soon.
