  • All houses allotted under PMAY, MMSAY and MMGAY will also need not to pay any stamp duty charges.

What is Stamp Duty?

Stamp duty is a tax paid during property registration. Removing it on such small houses and scheme-based plots will make buying and owning a home much easier for beneficiaries. The new rules are applicable from 27th August 2025.
