The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) for July 2024 will be conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. This test will be held across all districts in the state through a computer-based format.

Candidates from Manyam and Alluri Seetha Rama Raju (ASR) districts will be accommodated in nearby districts. The primary goal of the Teacher Eligibility Test is to uphold national standards and benchmarks for teacher quality in the recruitment process. This aligns with the guidelines set by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

AP-TET July 2024 – Application Process

The application process for AP-TET July 2024 is conducted online through the official website. Candidates must follow these steps to apply:

  1. Visit the Official Website: aptet.apcfss.in
  2. Registration: Click on the registration link and fill in the required details to create a login ID.
  3. Fill Application Form: Log in with your credentials and complete the application form with accurate information.
  4. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of necessary documents such as photographs, signature, and educational certificates.
  5. Payment of Fees: Pay the application fee online through the provided payment gateway.
  6. Submit Application: Review the filled application form and submit it. Take a printout of the application form for future reference.

AP-TET Syllabus

The AP-TET July 2024 exam will be conducted in two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Below are the details of the syllabus for each paper:

Paper I (for Classes I to V)

  1. Child Development and Pedagogy: Focuses on educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 6-11 years.
  2. Language I: Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Odiya.
  3. Language II (English): Basics of the English language, communication, and comprehension skills.
  4. Mathematics: Fundamental concepts, pedagogical issues, and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Environmental Studies: Concepts from science, social studies, and environmental education.

Paper II (for Classes VI to VIII)

  1. Child Development and Pedagogy: Educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 11-14 years.
  2. Language I: Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Odiya.
  3. Language II (English): Proficiency, communication, and comprehension skills in English.
  4. Mathematics and Science: For Mathematics and Science teachers.
  5. Social Studies: For Social Studies teachers.

Pass Criteria in TET Paper- 1A, Paper- 1B & Paper- 2A, Paper-2B

APTET-JULY-2024 Tentative Results will be declared after completion of examination. However, the final result will be given after the final key as per the scheduled. The criteria for considering pass mark in APTET-JULY-2024 are as follows:

Note: In case of Differently Abled (Visually, Orthopedically, Hearing Impaired and Autism) candidates clause 10a(iii) will be applicable to differently abled candidates with at least 40% disability based on the valid disability certificate as prescribed by the competent authority as notified by the Government from time to time.
