Along with the coaching fee, every selected student gets a fixed stipend of ₹ 1,000 per month for the full coaching period. Outstation students also qualify for boarding and lodging support of ₹ 2,000 per month, and the coaching institute has to certify that the candidate is an outstation student. The institute pays the stipend and boarding support to students every month through account payee cheques.
Eligibility
Eligibility is fixed separately for coaching institutions and for the students who want to join the coaching batch.
For Coaching Institutions: The institute should be a registered private organization or NGO with at least three years of experience in running competitive exam coaching. It should have the capacity to manage its own building and space for coaching at Ranchi and Dumka. The institution should not have been blacklisted by any government body or declared bankrupt at any point of time.
For Students: The candidate should belong to the Scheduled Caste category and be a resident of Jharkhand. The candidate should have the required qualifications for the mentioned competitive exams.
