On Thursday, November 13th, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav sent ₹233 crore directly to the bank accounts of about 1.33 lakh soybean farmers in Madhya Pradesh. The money was given through the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana (Price Difference Payment Scheme). This scheme ensures farmers get the full Minimum Support Price (MSP) of ₹5,328 per quintal, even if the market price is lower (it was around ₹4,036).

Farmers who sold their soybean in registered markets received the difference (about ₹1,300 per quintal) directly in their bank accounts. The government uses technology, like an AI-powered system and satellite images, to quickly track sales and transfer the money within 48 hours. This stops delays and removes middlemen. The Chief Minister promised that every farmer will get the full MSP for their soybean.

The Chief Minister also started the Samadhan Yojana. This scheme offers to waive (cancel) up to 100% of extra charges (surcharges) on old, unpaid electricity bills for over nine million users. This covers homes, businesses, and farms. The goal is to clear old debt and ensure everyone, especially farmers, gets a steady power supply for watering their fields. Farmers were happy with both plans, saying they quickly received the soybean money and now their electricity worries are gone.

Madhya Pradesh government has launched a new Soybean Price Deficiency Scheme to protect farmers from losses in Kisan Mandis. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that no farmer will suffer a loss on soybean sales this year. The scheme is linked with the Bhavantar system, where the government will pay the difference if the market price falls below the Minimum Support Price (MSP).

This step comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi fixed the MSP of soybean at ₹5,328 per quintal. Many farmers were worried about low Mandi rates and crop damage from yellow mosaic disease. To support them, the state government has promised price difference payments and also compensation for crop loss after surveys.

With this new scheme, farmers will not only get assured MSP protection but also relief money for damaged crops. The bonus money will be directly credited to their bank accounts through DBT.
