Over 500 consumers register for PM Surya Ghar in Odisha camps

TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL) held Seva Setu Camps in Baleshwar, Baliapal, Thakurmunda and Tihidi blocks. Over 500 consumers signed up for PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana in one day across these areas.

These camps helped households learn about using rooftop solar. Consumers spoke with TPNODL Solar and Customer Service teams, bank partners and business associates. They learned about the scheme's benefits, who can apply, government subsidies, required documents and how to apply.

Mr. Dushyant Kumar Tyagi, CEO of TPNODL, said that clear info and hands-on help are crucial for adopting rooftop solar. He added that Seva Setu Camps and Solar Rath programs bring scheme advice and technical support closer to homes.

Consumers interested can call TPNODL's helpline at 1800 3456 718 or 1912. They can also go to their nearest electricity office for help on eligibility, available subsidies and how to apply.
